About the Most Nothern Trail
The Northernmost point of Menorca has been the object of worship and respect, both for its position, which allows one to see both the sunrise and sunset, and for its danger to sailors. The lighthouse that crowns a calcareous cliff, 90 metres high, was opened on on the 1 March of 1857, with a beam of light that reaches 70 km distance and was witness to the most relevant shipwreck in the area.
