Most frequent questions & answers

Trails of Menorca boasts a variety of incredible hiking trails. Some popular choices include the Cave Trail, Outback Trail, Historical Trail and the Mordor Trail. Each offers unique views and experiences.

The ideal time is spring (March to June) and fall (September to November) when temperatures are milder. July and August is also an option but summers can be hot. So in that case consider the beautiful sunrise early morning hikes.

Yes, we offer trails which are suitable for beginners, for moderate- and for experienced hikers. From easy coastal paths to more challenging and expert routes; there’s something for everyone. Be sure to choose a trail that matches your fitness and experience level.

We require a minimum group size of 2 persons and a maximum group size of 5. All private so you are never with other people. So for now it’s not possible to book a solo hike at Trails of Menorca. Our tours provide guided experiences, adding insights into the island’s history, flora, and fauna.

First of all, good health. Other essential items include: sturdy shoes (no flip flops), a hat, sunscreen, sun glasses and (not mandatory) a swimsuit and. A towel can be borrowed. Depending on the season, consider insect repellent and rain gear.

While Menorca is generally safe, it’s essential to follow the do’s and dont’s of our expert guide. Inform our guide in advance about possible health issues and keep in mind to stay hydrated. Water will be provided.

Yes, some trails pass by stunning beaches and coves. Feel free to take a refreshing dip, but remember to bring a swimsuit. A towel can be borrowed.

Pets are generally allowed, but it’s important to keep them on a leash and consider the trail’s difficulty level. Make sure to clean up after your pet.

Yes, there are accommodations scattered around the island, often conveniently located near our popular hiking trails. Be sure to book in advance, especially during peak seasons.

Private Hike:
For adults each trail cost 89 euro per person. For children younger than 18 years a trail cost 45 euro per person. For every booking we receive, we donate 5 euro to charity. This year our donation goes to: Trebaluger Equine Rescue Centre. Included in the price is your pickup and drop-off at the start of your specified hike location. Insurance. A professional guide, equipped with First Aid and AED who speaks English, German and Dutch. Bottles of water and fresh fruit. After the hike you will have a small picknick with local gin and local chees. Pictures and video. A hygiene pouch. For the Kids Trail, funny assignments. If needed…, entrance tickets

Group Hike: 
For adults each trail cost 45 euro per person. For children younger than 18 years a trail cost 22,50 euro per person. For every booking we receive, we donate 2,50 euro to charity. Included in the price is insurance, a professional guide, equipped with First Aid and AED who speaks English, German and Dutch.

Yes, it is. You can borrow a backpack, hiking poles, a snorkel and towels.
